  • I am hurt. A plague o' both houses!
  • Act 3 Scene 2
  • Ah weraday, he's dead, he's dead, he's dead!

  • A gentler judgement vanished from his lips: Not body's death, but body's banishment.
  • The Capulets and Monatgues get into a swordfight. Tybalt kills Mercutio, and Romeo avenges his death by killing Tybalt. This causes further problems for Romeo and Juliet.
  • Act 3 Scene 4
  • These times of woe afford no times woo. Madam, good night. Commend me to your daughter.
  • The nurse informs Juliet about the fight and that someone has died. However Juliet thinks it's Romeo instead of Tybalt, creating some confusion.
  • Act 3 Scene 5
  • Graze where you will, you shall not house with me.
  • Friar Lawrence informs Romeo about the consequences from killing Tybalt, which is being banished from Verona. Romeo is beyond upset because this means he is separated from Juliet.
  • Count Paris asks the Capulets for Juliet's hand in marriage, and they agree that it's a great idea. They all plan when the proposal will be.
  • Romeo has to leave because he is banished by morning. Juliet's parents think she is upset about Tybalt dying. When they figure out it's about Romeo being banished, they order her to marry Count Paris. If she refuses she will be kicked out of the house.
