Hamilton's Financial Plan was to one pay off all war debts. Two raise government revenues. Finally, three creating a national bank. Jefferson disagreed with this plan because he argues the government only had the powers that the Constitution clearly states.
Whiskey was very important to farmers and since they placed a tax on it farmers got angry. To protest this farmers from Pennsylvania staged the Whiskey Rebellion. Instead of taking the tax off Washington was prepared to enforce the tax and crush the Whiskey Rebellion. They feared if they didn't act they might weaken the authority of the governemnt
The French Revolution was inspired by the American Revolution and they French wanted liberty and equality. Washington wanted to stay neutral. Hamilton wanted to help Britain because they were America's most important trading partner. Jefferson thinks that a move to crush the French Revolution was an attack on liberty every where though.
