Hi i'm Fred i live in the Hudson bay area. i come to Hudson Bay every week to fish. i could even go to one of the other thousands of lakes in the Canadian shield. the lakes were caused by erosion.
I'm Jayne and i'm in part of the Boreal forest right now where the soil is very thin. i enjoy hunting in this animal rich environment. i do not go north because the closer you get to the arctic the fewer animals there are. The main kinds of tree we have are Coniferous and Deciduous trees.
the Canadian Shield is made up of nickel, gold, silver, and copper. Fun Fact: The first hard rock mine in the Canadian Shield was made near Madoc Ontario 1866 after people found gold in the area
I'm Fergus the Canadian Shield spreads across Labrador, Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest territories, Nunavut , and a little bit of the U.S.A. Reaching a total of 8,000,000 Square Kilometers. the creating of it took 3 billion years.
