Storyboard Text

  • This is Mr. Deviant. Having just been released form prison, Mr. Deviant feels the need to do some mischievous crime. He decides to revert back to a life of street crime (recidivism). Mr. Deviant comes with many bad stigmas.
  • This is Mr. Conformity. He is actually a really nice dude! He knows that all types of formal deviance and transgressions are unacceptable. He is also great with normative compliance and makes sure that everything goes smoothly.
  • One night, a criminal throws a puppy out of a car! The insanity!
  • Noticing the already hurt and confused puppy, Mr. Deviant jumps into the air, and lands a perfect ninja kick right into the puppy's belly! What a rebel...
  • Seeing the puppy, Mr. Conformity picks him up , and helps the puppy recover.
  • As anyone can see, Mr. Conformity is clearly the nicer and more conforming guy. If most people saw an injured puppy on the side of the road, they would help him. This is a prime example of Broken Windows Theory, because the puppy was already hurt, so Mr. Deviant thought that it was okay to further injure the puppy. Mr. Conformity knew that the puppy needed help. It really just depended on who was near the puppy at the right time. We as a society need to help one another out and to stop being so self centered.
