  • We have been mistreated for years and it is time for a change.
  • The Tennis Court Oath May/June, 1789
  • The Nobility and Clergy have downed us and now it is time we make a stand!
  • We shall destroy this prison of horrors and let all of the spirits that live within the walls loose
  • The Storming of the Bastille July 14th, 1789
  • The Decree Abolishing the Feudal System, August 4th, 1789
  • We need to decree an abolishment of feudalism
  • The Nobility must be stopped!
  • The Tennis Court Oath brought together Third Estate people to vote for themselves because the Clergy and Nobility would not listen to anything they had to say.
  • The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, August 27th, 1789
  • NO WE AREN'T!!
  • The people of the Third Estate devised an attack on one of Frances most feared places in the country, The Bastille, to make the monarchy know of their presence.
  • The Women's March on Versailles, October 5th-6th, 1789
  • The Decree to Abolish the Feudal System was a huge moment in this time period. The National Assembly got together and decided to abolish feudalism and any other privilege of the Nobility.
  • The Constitution of 1791, September 3rd, 1791
  • And the constitution is signed!!
  • After the National Assembly decreed abolishment of feudalism, King Louis was forced by the people to sign the declaration they made.
  • Ok, Ok, fine I will sign it.
  • The people are not going to stop until I sign this document...
  • The Women of the city had a shortage of bread because the Monarchy was cutting back on the rations and this enraged the women and they decided to march to the front gates of the palace and declare the King and his wife move out of the city to Paris.
  • We need our food to survive! Without it we will make you suffer too!
  • It all ended when the Constitution was signed, giving the people of the Third Estate the freedom they deserved.
