  • The Native Americans that lived in the eastern woodlands told stories about warriors and their ancestors. The reason they shared these stories was to inform the younger generation about their tribes history.  Native Americans also thought that every living thing had a soul so when a animal dies they throw a saromnie.
  • During the day the most of the women did all of the work. Some of the things they did were making baskets, cropping, cooking dinner and pottery. Since the females did the all of the house work the males  would hunt for their meat.
  • The Native Americans of the of the south eastern woodlands hunted and farmed for their food source. Some of the food that they ate was corn, squash, pumpkins, berries and bears.
