Caesar is watching Antony at a race. When he wins, Antony tries to give Caesar the crown three times. He rejects the crown all of those three times. After this, he falls on the ground and has a seizure.
You too, Brutus?
For the betterment of Rome.
Cassius meets up with his conspirators to talk about murdering Caesar. Cassius says that they should have Brutus join them to make it seem righteous. They go over to his house and try to convince him. He agrees, as he thinks that it will be for the betterment of Rome and not for jealousy.
Kill the conspirators.
Calpurnia has a dream that Caesar will be murdered. She tries to convince Caesar to stay home with her instead of going to the Senate House. However, Decius comes to their home to take Caesar there. He convinces Caesar that the dream was misinterpreted and takes Caesar will him to the Senate House.
We will give him a proper burial.
He was the noblest Roman of them all.
Cassius, Brutus, and thew rest of the conspirators take Caesar to the Senate House. They give Caesar one last chance to prove that his death would not be necessary. He refuses and the conspirators each take turns stabbing him. He is finally killed after Brutus stabs him last.
Brutus lets Antony speak at Caesar's funeral. He tells the people about how Caesar was a good man and that he left his property for the citizens. He convinces the crowd to riot and go after the conspirators. However, Brutus and the rest of the conspirators have already escaped Rome.
Brutus and Antony gather their armies and have a massive battle. Antony and Octavius soon get the upper hand on Brutus's army. Cassius commits suicide to avoid being captured, and Brutus does the same. Antony and Octavius find their bodies and give Brutus a proper funeral.
