  • "It is a quiet tree lined small town american street... The houses have front porches on which people sit and swing on gliders."
  • "Go ahead, Steve. What kind of radio set you working on? I never seen it, Neither has anyone else. Who do you talk to on that radio set.

  • Neighbors on Maple Street turn against each other.
  • "I don't understand. I swear.... I dont understand whats happening."
  • Maple Street supports the theme because the neighborhood of Maple Street seems Utopian, but when something bad is triggered the setting doesn't seem so perfect anymore.  
  • In Conclusion
  • In this story the character revealed the story the most. The characters made false accusations and ended up going against each other.
  • Charlie revealed the theme by concluding that everyone else did something bad except him.
  • This conflict reveales the even though people may know each other a long time when people when people get suscpicious they make dumb decisions.
  • " Maybe you you better tell us. Nothings working on the street. Nothing. No lights, no power, no radio. Nothing except 1 cars yours."
