  • I have a dream, comrades!!

  • In the beginning of the story, The hog old major tells the other barnyard animals about his plot to rebel against the drunk farm-owner Mr. Jones
  • Climax
  • The animals are driven to rebellion through old majors words. Together, they drive jones from his farm.
  • Falling action
  • Jones and his men return to the farm to fight. The animals trick the men into thinking they are retreating, then they attack. One man is knocked unconscious and one sheep is killed in the struggle.
  • Resolution
  • Under Napoleons orders the dogs chase Snowball off the farm. This leaves the farm under Napoleons supreme rule. Snowball is then used as a scapegoat throughout the story.
  • As Boxer gets older he becomes weaker. Napoleon tells the animals that Boxer is going to a special hospital, however he is sent to a slaughterhouse.
  • In the Resolution of Animal Farm, Napoleon and the pigs completely go to the dark side and treat the humans as comrades. While the ending is bleak, this is simply a summary of the outcome of Stalins reign.
