  • People believed that there were multiple gods. This was known as polytheism.  Then Judaism came around, where people believed in one god.
  • I am Abraham . I am the father of monotheism. God told me to lead people to Caanan
  • Moses freed the Jewish slaves from Egypt.
  • Israel was a power nation. Then Solomon died and people revolted. This divided the nation in two. The northern part being called Israel and the southern being called Judah.
  • As Israel fell, the Jewish people scattered. They went to various part of the world, while still following their religious traditions. This spread the religion throughout the world.
  • The Jewish people use the Ten Commandments and their code of ethics as a guide for the present and the future. The religion lives on to this day
