HI kids i'm an archaeologist that studies the ancient world. My favorite to study is ancient Egypt.
I have question, were there peasants back in ancient Egypt?
Yes peasants were back in ancient Egypt a couple facts about peasants are, the peasants had the most population in ancient Egypt but they had the least value. Everyone in Egypt depended on their work as farmers
Peasants lived in plain small houses made out of mud bricks, the furniture was spare, often just woven mats.
The peasants were mostly farmers and provided food for everyone. When they were not farming they would help build monuments like pyramids .
So there you have it, any questions about peasants of ancient Egypt?
Wow! It's very different then the house we live in.
You see peasants didn't have to work all the time all day, they had some time to have fun like men liked playing in the Nile River. the harvest season was the most important for the peasants but, they would get punished if they harvest bad crops.
