I doubted everything, but most of all my own abilities and the dream of becoming a racehorse. I was about to give up. The best thing was probably to turn away and give up on the dream and everything else.
So I set off. Where exactly, I didn't knew that at this time. My mind was racing. I strolled through the city, past cafés, shops and restaurants. Suddenly I saw a big poster in my eye wraps. It was a poster of the next horse race. Suddenly the scales fell from my eyes: I couldn't just give up without having tried everything!
So I decided to keep on following my dream and returned to the farm.
The other animals on the farm welcomed me with open arms and felt happy for me. With new motivation and energy I started training again to get myself ready for the next possible race in two weeks.
You have to get faster!
When the day of the race came, I was quite nervous. Would I make it this time? I was absolutely sure to do my very best and to make my dream come true!
And indeed, all efforts and hard work have been worthwhile. I believed in myself, worked on myself and now I crossed the finish line first and won the race!
