Storyboard Text

  • A convention has been called to fix the Articles of Confederation. The country needed help to be fixed and united. No longer could they fight over western lands, slave trade, or the type of money that will be used.
  • The Constitution was written and signed in Philadelphia in the Assembly Room of the Pennsylvania State House, now known as Independence Hall. This was the same place the Declaration of Independence was signed.
  • Important men at the time like Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and George Mason were there.
