Represenative Pat McElraft in troduced the bill that AUTHORIZEd PERMITTED OVERSIZED OR OVERWEIGHT VEHICLES TOTRAVEL AFTER SUNSET WHEN TRANSPORTING AND DELIVERING CARGO,CONTAINERS, OR OTHER EQUIPMENT TO OR FROM INTERNATIONAL PORTS.
The bill for the permit was refered to a transportation committee.
The bill is explained to the first Houseof represenatives and has to pass its second and third reading after its approved and debated.
The same thing happens as the last step but in the second house of represenatives, then voted on at the second and third readings.
The bill will be returned to the house it was introduced in and if no changes are made then it will be ready to be signed into law but if changes are made it request that the body concur in the changes.
After the bill passes it is signed by the presiding officers and the governor if neccesary. After the second signature the bill is ratified. It then becomes a law.
