  • You were going 30 km/ph over the limit and also over the legal blood limit.

  • You will be fined $450 and have lost your license for 4 months.  Is there anyone that you want to ring?

  • We will take your car back to the station, so someone can pick it up from there
  • Bob is a male, is 35 and is not a very good driver, but has had his full license for 5 years. He is driving through Canberra has been driving for 7 hours and is very tired. His tires have not been changed in at least two years. He is a repeat speed and drink-driving offender.
  • Scenario 2: Medium Consequence
  • He has no passengers keeping him awake and is going 30 km/ph over the 100 speed limit. He has also had over the legal blood alcohol limit. He was followed by a policeman and was eventually pulled up in the Coles CarPark and was fined $450 and the loss of his license as this was not the first time that Bob has been drink-driving and speeding.

  • Bob then was picked up by his wife and taken home to his three young kids. He now can't drive for 4 months and has to be taken to work by his wife. He is now aware aroun cars.

  • Bob then accidentally took a turn down a driveway of a farm.  He rolled his car into a fence. He suffered a broken leg, He was also fined $2000 for reckless driving and lost his license for 2 years. Bob has also offered to fix the damage on the fence. The main causes were know to be speeding, sleeping at the wheel and old, used tires.
