The comic thing, it needs to be six major events from the road to revolution.
The Sugar Act
NOT MY SUGAR!!!!!!
Your Sugar is now taxed, pay up peasants.
Stop protesting, stand down.
NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION
Hey, that's what we drink.
Your Tea has been taxed, start paying for it.
This event is important because it was the first time that the English had taxed them. They had to start paying for their sugar, which made them mad.
Boston Tea Party
This is revenge for taxing us you stupid British.
This event is important and cruel because it's when the English couldn't control a protest and shot the crowd. The soldiers killed five people and didn't even get in trouble.
First Continental Congress
We must create militias and fight for our freedom
This event is really important because it's when the English decided to take away one of the things that made the colonists feel English. The colonists felt as if the English weren't letting them be English.
Lexington and Concord
This event is important because it shows how the colonists got back at the English. They threw a lot of tea into Boston Harbour. The colonists were English and they wanted revenge because they felt like they were being told that they weren't English.
Have fun cleaning up this tea!
This event is significant because it's when the colonists decided they wanted to be free. They all met up and decided to create militias.
This event is important because it's what started the war. The shot that started the war was in Lexington and a colonist shot first.
