Matt was telling his grandad about how his friend Aman and his mother were taken to Yals Wood before they were sent back to Afganistan, Matt wanted to go see his friend but because he's too young he was not allowed to go but he did convince grandad to go see them.
When grandad got to Yals Wood the next day he was astonished that they kept kids there it was like a prison. The government were keeping them there until the could send them back to the then war infested Afganistan.
After a while, Aman began to tell grandad his terrifying and grueling journey to England. The story was so upsetting until Aman told grandad about shadow a dog who helped them navigate there way around Afganistan, sadly they had to leave shadow behind with her old family
Aman begged grandad to help him and his mother to stay in England. Grandad having pity on them said that he would the best he could to help them. Grandad decided on a strike.
At the beginning of the strike it was just Matt and his grandad but at the end of the day, it was a full crowd. Their charting was getting louder and the guards of Yals Wood called the cops, the police came and watched the crowed. Nearing the end of the day One of the guards from Yals Wood came out to the crowed and informed them that Aman and his mother had already been sent back to Afghanistan. after this sad news the crowed began to shrink.
And then a miracle happened Sargent Brodie saved Aman and his mother from the plane, Aman ways save and was reunited with the dog Shadow who helped them to get to England. Aman and his mother could now stay in their now home.
