Elizabeth C. Stanton ( on the left) Lucretia Mott (on the left) meet at the World Anti-Slavery Convention in 1840 In London. Mott also was against slavery and she help to start a school for colored girls. When Stanton was a young girl she notice that a women begging her father to protect her from her husband that had beaten which there was no law against that.
In 1847 Lucy Stone Graduated from Oberlin College. People wanted her to write a speech but the men have to read it because the women were not allowed to speak in public. After that she didn't vote cause women were not allowed to vote.

Stone's sister in law Elizabeth Blackwell wanted to go to med school to become a doctor. She studied math,science and history. Blackwell got rejected by 29 medical school until finally sh got accepted. She graduated at the top of her class and becoming the first female doctor in the U.S.

Stanton and Mott met at Mott's sisters house and talk about how are they going to get women the right to vote. They both agree to start the movement at Seneca Falls in New York. And in to announce in the newspaper.
The Organizers of the Seneca Falls Convention propose the Declaration of Sentiment states that all man and women are equal. The Declaration of Sentiments passed and it gave the women right. This shows that man and women are created equally and they both have rights.
The legacy of Seneca Falls. The reformers made a lot of progress. New York gave the women a right to control their property and wages. Indiana and Massachusetts passed a liberal divorces. The world that we live in grew a lot over the years now women has the same right that men dose we are all equal and that we treat people with respect.
