  • Mechanical Energy
  • Sound Energy
  • Electromagnetic Energy
  • Mechanical energy is the sum of potential energy and kinetic energy.
  • Chemical Energy
  • Sound energy is a form of energy that is associated with vibrations of matter. It is a type of mechanical wave which means it requires an object to travel through.
  • Thermal Energy and Heat
  • It"s a firer
  • Its hot in here turn on the air baby.
  • Electromagnetic radiation are the radiant energy released by certain electromagnetic processes. Visible light is one type of electromagnetic radiation; other familiar forms are invisible electromagnetic radiations, such as radio waves, infrared light and X rays
  • Nuclear Energy
  • Chemical Energy is energy stored in the bonds of chemical compounds (atoms and molecules). It is released in a chemical reaction, often producing heat as a by product (exothermic reaction).
  • Thermal energy is an example of kinetic energy, as it is due to the motion of particles, with motion being the key. Thermal energy results in an object or a system having a temperature that can be measured. Thermal energy can be transferred from one object or system to another in the form of heat.
  • Nuclear energy can be used to create electricity, but it must first be released from the atom. In nuclear fission, atoms are split to release the energy. A nuclear reactor, or power plant, is a series of machines that can control nuclear fission to produce electricity.
