  • Benethea and a drunken Walter enact a made up Nigerian ritual while Ruth looks on wearily.
  • OCOMOGOSIAY!!
  • Listen, my black brothers
  • Me and you should sit down and talk business sometime
  • Walter, Ruth, and George all question and criticize Benethea on choosing to cut most of her hair off.
  • WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR?!
  • Walter enters a drunken rage as he begins to insult George on his college attire. This seems to not phase George in the slightest, but fills Ruth with embarrassment
  • You'll have to excuse him
  • I DONT LIKE YOUR SHOES!!
  • Walter begins to talk business with George and hoping that he'll listen and respond to his ideas. However, George is uninterested which makes Walter bitter

  • After George insults Walter and leaves with Benethea, Walter reflects on how college students reach a point where they can't be confrontational
  • HE CAN'T INSULT ME MAN TO MAN!

  • Walter feels extremely hurt that Mama has decided to spend the money on a house rather than investing in his idea of buying a liquor store and feels like she crushed his dreams
