People under the poverty line in Hong Kong can't enjoy things like buying candy, because their pay isn't good enough
I'm sorry sir but you can't be here
People are forced to beg on the street for money and most people just dismiss them or tell them to leave. Now 1.3m Hong Kongers are living under the poverty line and are often seen begging.
My family has good insurance to make sure that we recover from our injury or illness but some people aren't as lucky as us and can't always afford that
We don't have good enough insurance so we can't look after our family members which leads to extreme illness and death
We can enjoy things like going to fairs and amusement parks but the 99% don't get the chance to go because they're under the poverty line
We can even get prosecuted by the police because we are in a place we aren't meant to be in such as country clubs and other private areas or even in public places because we are begging for money
