Julie, Steve, Kim & Tim are heading to a special show in the Hamptons for the first time, to start their college summer break . The show starts in just over an hour but since the Hamptons are more than two hours away, they're worried they'll end up getting there too late.
The group of friends are realising that no car, bus or train can get them there fast enough so they are brainstorming what else they can do when, Julie suddenly suggests that they "catch the wave" The group immediately rushes down to lower Manhattan and arrive at the pier at Whitehall Terminal.
The show is only one hour away at this point so they quickly FacePay and board the tubular looking aquatic vehicle. Once onboard, the W.A.V.E. rapidly skims across the surface of the water briefly before submerging beneath it.
Old ways are for the old days... Catch the new W.A.V.E.
New MTA The Future. Going Your Way.
Approximately 40 minutes later, the friends arrive in the Hamptons. They depart the W.A.V.E. and run down the pier. There's only 10 minutes left before the show.
Julie, Steve, Kim , and Tim manage to get through security, and onto the beach. With huge smiles, they start high-fiving . The show is just starting. And thanks to the W.A.V.E., they made it just in time.
Fade up from black shows text which reads, "Old ways are for the old days... Catch the new W.A.V.E." This transitions to another screen which shows the New MTA logo and its slogan which reads, The Future. Going Your Way.
