In the days when Sennacherib being king, Tobit would give his bread to the hungry and clothes to the naked. If he saw one of his people who died and thrown behind the wall of Nineveh, Tobit would bury them. He was raged because he had judgment enacted by the king of heaven, and in his rage killed several Israelites. So he went and buried those bodies and when Sennacherib couldn't find them he didn't find them.
A Ninevite informed the king about him and the king wanted to hunt Tobit to death, he became afraid and took flight. His property was confiscated, and was left with nothing. But forty days didn't pass before two king's sons assassinated him and fled to the mountains of Ararat. A son of his, Esarhaddon, succeeded him as king.
Under king Esarhaddon, he returned home, and my wife Anna and his son Tobiah was restored to Tobit.
Tobit cried because one of his people was murdered and he at sunset went and buried him. His neighbors mocked him for burying the dead because he was hunted for it.
Sparrows were perched on the wall above him, and droppings settled in his eyes causing white scales, and eventually, he went blind. For four years I was unable to see, and all kindred were distressed at my condition. Ahiqar, took care of him for two years until he left for Elam.
Tobit prayed for death to the lord which is very selfish and he just wanted to be "released from such anguish." On that same day at Ecbatana in Media Raguel's daughter had to marry seven husbands, but the wicked demon Asmodeus kept killing them off before they could have intercourse with her, and the maid believed that she was the one who kept killing her husband's.
