Storyboard Text

  • It's Mary's wedding day. during the celebration she started feeling unwell after eating.
  • My groom is waiting for me!
  • She's started releasing all the food that she ate.
  • Argh! Why am I feeling this during my wedding day?
  • After food enters Mary's stomach, the stomach muscle mix the food and liquid with digestive juices. The stomach slowly empties its contents, called chyme, into mary's small intestine.
  • The muscles of the small intestine mix food with digestive juices from pancreas, liver, and intestine, and push the mixture forward for further digestion. The walls of the small intestine absorb water and the digested nutrients into your bloodstream. As peristalsis continues, the waste products of the digestive process move into the large intestine.
  • And lastly, the food goes though the large intestine, colon, rectum and anus. The colon is responsible for processing waste. It takes about 36 hours for stool to get through the colon and exit the rectum through the anus.
  • Finally I'm done! Now, I'm ready for the main course of this day!
  • Love, the guest are waiting!
