  • Or is there a torrent of worry that I should know of.

  • You are my wife, far from being base never a harlot.
  • I am servile trust me if not I am to be referred to as no more than a harlot.

  • If I am of constancy you would tell me of your troubles.
  • Oh the exalted gods have me worthy for my wife.
  • Potia wonders why Brutus has been up late and asks him what his troubles are.
  • Portia lets Brutus know she needs to be trusted or she will feel unloved and Brutus reassures his love.
  • Portia again asks to be trusted and Brutus contemplates what to do by yelling to the gods.
