The Great Gatsby Chapter Seven
This storyboard does not have a description.
A stifling day at the Buchanan's house and a gathering of friends and frenemies. Daisy's child is finally met by Nick and Gatsby. After lunch discussions of going into the city happen.
Driving in the car to the city generates conversations between Tom, Nick, and Jordan. The need for gas pulls them over to the Wilsons' car shop. The truth of what Mr. Wilson plans to do to his wife comes out.
Everyone agrees to stop at a hotel for ice baths and mint juleps. However, discussions about Daisy's loyalty to her husband, kill the mood. Nobody has any alcohol or ice baths and everyone leaves for home.
The owner of a restaurant across the street from the Wilsons' shop, witnesses the husband lock his wife in his house but has to leave. He later sees them arguing outside. He watches them until he sees Mrs. Wilson killed in a hit and run.
As Tom, Nick, and Jordan drive home, well after Gatsby and Daisy, they stop at the Wilsons' to see why the cops were there. They talk to the policemen and realize that the car that ran Daisy over was Gatsby's. They drive back to East Egg in silence.
After arriving at the Buchanan's home, Nick feels overwhelmed and sits outside. He finds Gatsby hiding in a bush outside the house and goes to talk to him. Gatsby confesses to Nick that is was Daisy who ran Myrtle over, but will take the blame himself.
