Coco Thomas Water Cycle Comic Strip
This storyboard does not have a description.
Nice to meet you Hydra! I am Frittata, and I would love to join you on your journey!
Hi! I am Hydra. I want to take you on my adventure through the water cycle!
It is getting pretty hot out here Frittata! I'm starting to feel a little bit lighter! This is because of evaporation! Water evaporates when it reaches a certain temperature. At least that's what I've heard!
AHHHHHHHHH! I'm evaporating!
This process of the water cycle is called condensation. This happens when water vapor changes and/or condenses to form clouds. Don't get comfortable, we'll be back down shortly!
Why are we up so high?
This process is called precipitation. The water molecules in the clouds condense even more to form water droplets. These water droplets are pulled down to the earth because of gravity. Enjoy your ride!
Why are we back to being water droplets again?
Where are we now? How did this happen?
We have reached the fourth and final step of the water cycle: accumulation. This occurs when all of the precipitation settles into an area, or in other words, accumulates.
Sorry to break it to you, but our journey is never over! As soon as you know it, we will be evaporating once again!
I'm so glad our journey is over! That was tiring!
