  • Legend says that Ancient Rome was founded by the two brothers, Romulus and Remus, on 21 April 753 BCE. Rome has access to rivers, such as the Tiber River and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
  • Art/Architecture
  • The highest positions in the government were held by two leaders who ruled the Roman Republic. An empire is an extensive group of states or countries under a single emperor or empress.
  • Engineering
  • Patricians were the most important ones in Rome, the Plebians were the second most important group people, the Freedman were not that important, but they were the third group of people and finally, the slaves were the least important, becuase of the fact that they had no rights.
  • Entertainment
  • The Colosseum is one of the many famous building in Rome and The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew is one of the most famous paintings in Rome.
  • Roman roads include Appian Way, Via Flaminia, Dere Street, etc. Roman aqueducts include Pont du Gard. Roman bridges include Alcántara Bridge, Pons Frabicius, Pont Julien, etc. Roman dams inlcude Cornalvo Dam, Proserpina Dam and so much more.
  • Some of the things the Romans did for fun were awful. The Romans enjoyed fights between gladiators and fights between people and animals.
