  • Yes, but your not going to see him
  • Tom Robinson wonders what the noise is going on outside. This shows Tom Robinson's perspective where he feels curious wondering what the noise is outside.
  • What's going on outside?
  • Tom Robinson questions himself and asks himself whether or not the people outside will get pass Atticus and kill him. This shows Tom Robinson's perspective where he feels scared because he is afraid that the men outside will come in and kill him.
  • Are the people outside going to get pass Atticus and come into my cell and kill me?
