Storyboard Text

  • I love you mother.
  • Mother you at right and father is wrong.
  • No problem Hephaestus.
  • Thank you for nursing me back to health Thetis.
  • Oh no I better help him.
  • Hephaestus was the son of Zeus and Hera.   But Hephaestus was very fond of his mother which made Zeus very angry.
  • Welcome home son.
  • Thank you father.
  • Once when Hephaestus sided with Hera Zeus became so angry that he threw Hephaestus out of Olympus by his legs.
  • Don't worry master.
  • We will help you.
  • After flying through the air for a whole day, and landing on the island Lemnos, Hephaestus was nursed back to health by the Goddess Thetis.
  • Clang!
  • Zeus had forgiven Hephaestus and invited him back to Olympus. But Hephaestus never walked the same. He walked like a flickering flame and his legs could not support him for very long.
  • Hephaestus built himself two robots made of silver and gold to help support him. They could think and speak and helped Hephaestus in his workshop in Olympus.
  • Hephaestus had forges in the volcanoes on Earth. He also had other helpers called cyclops that were one eyed creatures who swung his heavy hammers. And when Hephaestus worked the sound of his hammer could be for miles and sparks flew out of the mountains.
  • Bang!
