"I shall not want you, even if you asked to come. You have made your choice; you an be what you want to be, But I will bury him; and if I must die, I say that this crime is holy; I shall lie down with him in death, and I shall be as dear to him as he is to me."
"The dead man- Polyneices- out there- someone has given it burial that way, and gone."
"Had you heard my proclamation touching this matter? It was public. Could I help hearing it? And yet you dared defy the law."
She is going to bury Polyneices and Ismene is scared for her.
Antigone has buried Polyneices and the Sentry has just told Creon.
Antigone goes to Creon and admits to burying her brother and overhearing Creon's proclamation about not burying her brother
Scene 5- Exodus
Creon is saying that you should follow his rules and not disobey him or the law.
"I'll have no dealings with lawbreakers, critics of the government: Whoever is chosen to govern should be obeyed- Must be obeyed, in all things, great or small, Just and unjust."
Antigone wont break the laws of the Gods but she will break Creon's laws if she has to.
"I would not transgress the laws of heaven Come: let us wait no longer."
There is no wisdom for what Creon has done the past few days, in submission to the Gods.
