  • Swaett v. Painter Cynthia Murillo
  • What brings us here today?
  • I'm here to fight for my right to attend UT's Law School
  • Please explain in further depth of what's going on with the university
  • The university won't allow me to become one of their students because I'm African American, they went to the depths to creating a separate law school for African Americans just to keep me out
  • Okay, I'm going to take this to the U.S Supreme Court to discuss this, we'll meet back in a couple of hours
  • Me too, I agree that's the step we should take
  • That's not fair at all, how about we have separate but equal schools?
  • I think that's a great solution
  • UT Law School won't accept a perfectly eligible student into their university because his race
  • Great it's settled then, we've now established separate but equal schools
  • So we came to the conslusion that what we'll be able to do is make separate but equal schools as the first step
  • That's a very good first step thank you very much
