  •  It was before the dark day everyone was doing their business as normal when New England's world went black.
  • Friday, May 19, 1780, in the  government's house in Mass
  • The dark day has started. People are scared and confused. They think that it is the prophesied end of the world. The government had no idea what to do.
  • Friday, May 20, 1780, The Dark day has ended
  • yay! we didn't die!
  • A man was running toward the government's house with a letter reporting the shutdown of all the business in the area. 
  • "Academics at the University of Missouri's Department of Forestry analyzed tree trunks inland from New England, where westerly prevailing winds would originate."
  • The only resident in the house had just read the letter and was shocked. He had to write a letter back to try to reassure the townspeople. 
  • The dark day has ended during the night. Things went back to normal even though they were a bit shaken.
