Planter Lewis heads over to his cousin Shep's house. While walking, he sees something odd. Interested, he follows the arrow...
What's going on here?
Walking down the alley and exiting into the street, Planter sees a march. Walking over he realizes it is a Black Lives Matter. Hesitantly, he walks over until he notices...
Oh! It's a Black Lives Matter march!
What a bunch of idiots! What's the point of saying that black lives matter, when all they do is do drugs and rob people!
Black Lives Matter March!
Johnny Smith, the most popular kid is sitting on a bench, laughing and making fun of the people in the march. Planter was left with a tough decision.
I don't want to be made fun of. What if everyone at school doesn't like me if I participate? I mean if Johnny Smith doesn't like it, doesn't that mean that I shouldn't also, so I can be cool like him?
Then Planter remembered about his distant cousin...
But what about my cousin...Tom, or Tommy. He stood up for what was right, even when it cost him a successful future. He did what was right, even when it could have negatively impacted his life.
As Planter walked over to the march, he thought he could feel Tommy walking down with him.
