This shows the process of freezing, melting, and evaporating
Snow is just frozen water that builds up in clouds in the atmosphere. When these particles of water get to heavy, they will fall from the clouds. If its warm where they fall, it will turn into rain. If not, it will stay as snow.
When the sun comes out and warms up these particles, they break down and melt, turning snow into puddles and slush
When the sun continues to blaze, the heat warms up these particles even more, causing them to turn into gas, or evaporate. When the gas gets to a certain height, it builds up and makes clouds. and within these clouds, more ice begins to form, and the process starts again.
