This event took place in Paris, France on July 4th. Many people were outraged about their government being unfair and misleading. They barged into the area, ready to express their anger that they held in for so long.
Bread was very valuable to commoners, especially in the harsh winter. Suddenly, the bread prices began to raise up. This issue had angered commoners (mostly women) so they took it upon themselves to take action and settle what had been happening.
