Storyboard Text

  • I need to get a lot of food to make chipotle turkey burgers. I need to make sure my cold things don't thaw out or they'll be in the danger zone.
  • Before I cook I need to get alll of the chemicals and my pets out of the kitchen so there isn't a fire.
  • I also need to get changed because I don't want my sweater to catch on fire, I have to put my hair up, put an apron on and wash my hands.
  • Always have the knife pointed outward NOT towards you.
  • I'm ready to cook because I washed my hands, pulled my hair back, and have my apron on.
  • I had to separate my meat from my lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers for my salad so I don't have cross contamination from my meat to the veggies.
  • Always have hot soapy water so you can clean up as you cook
  • Pan handle should stay inward so no one knocks it off and burns themselves.
  • All I need to do is put a little olive oil into the pan and cook my turkey burgers on medium heat level
  • I cooked the burgers until they had no pinkish color in the center. All the baking utensils I used are all washed and put away.
  • Dinner is done
  • Did you both wash your hands before we start eating?
