This storyboard illustrates CLG 110 years ago, 90 years ago and in the present
110 years ago, Green Lake was the largest lake in Texas. It was sparkly and full of clear water. Miss Kate Barlow was the town schoolteacher, and fell in love with Sam, the onion man. However, no one wanted them to be together, since Sam was a black man and racism was strong.
Twenty years after Sam was killed, Green Lake had become a ghosttown. The lake had started to dry, as well as the peach trees. Kate Barlow, now the most famous outlaw, came back and lived in a cabin for a few years, but was killed short after by a yellow-spotted lizard.
Now, the Lake has dried completely. The place is a flat wasteland. There are only two trees and a cabin. Also, the place now serves as a camp for bad boys. The campers are sent there to correct their behaviour, and they have to dig holes everyday at the dried lake.
