  • Tell The Wolves I'm Home by: Carol Rifka Brunt
  • Love
  • So June, where do you want to start today? I know how much you love this place so why don't we start there.
  • Theme Development #1
  • Ooh! Yes please, that is my favorite spot ever!
  • Sophie Aglietti Progress Check #3 theme
  • Theme Development #2
  • Thank you June, and Greta you're almost done so sit tight.
  • A major theme in this novel is love because when Finn is still alive, June loves him very much and he loves her too. While some of the characters including Greta don't really love Finn that much, June still does.
  • Theme Development #3
  • You're lucky i decided to come at all.
  • Finn and June always go to this fair where they are talking about mythical stuff because they both love that kind of thing. June will wear her special boots and they will go together. Finn wouldn't take her to these places if he didn't love her.
  • Thematic Solution
  • This is the woods i used to come to all the time after Finn died and before I met you.
  • Oh June! I love it so much!
  • My gosh, are we ever going to be done with this stupid painting.
  • June always went to visit Finn in his apartment, sometimes she was alone and sometimes she came with her mom and Greta. June loved Finn so much that she would beg her mom to go more than once a week to visit Finn.
  • Calm down Greta, it's not that much work.
  • June went to go and see Toby on the train and even though her whole family didn't like Toby at all, they said he was a murderer. June realized that he was kind of a nice guy and that if she loved Finn, she can learn to love his love.
  • I'm so happy that you came June! It's so nice to finally meet you by yourself.
  • I think once June learns to fully love Toby, she will trust him enough with the secrets she told Finn. I think that she will grow to be very close with him, and maybe even take him to the woods sometime, like she used to do with Finn.
