I am an English thinker, I wrote views of government in Leviathan. I Believed people needed government to impose Order. I also believed in social contract. According to Hobbes, the lives of people in the state of nature were "solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short", a state in which self-interest and the absence of rights and contracts prevented the society.

I have been bestowed with a moniker "father of analytical geometry," for my work that draws parallels between algebra and geometry. This connection between the fields is important in calculus. most famous writing may continue to be my Meditations on First Philosophy, which is still often required reading in philosophy courses at most universities.

About Francis Bacon
I became a Member of Parliament in 1581 at the age of 20. I served as Lord Chancellor of England from 1618 to 1621. I took up Aristotelian ideas, arguing for an empirical, inductive approach, known as the scientific method, which is the foundation of modern scientific inquiry. The title is a reference to Aristotle's workOrganon, which was my treatise on logic and syllogism, and is the second part of my Instauration.
