  • The beginning of this story introduces us to th white family. In their Parlor in England around the 1800s . it was just a cold night. then they had a mysterious guest sergeant major Morris. told them about strange land and objects.
  • Climax
  • why is there so many locks on this door?
  • There is conflict in this story. Mr. white and the temptation of the paw. Mr. white and his devotion to his own family
  • Falling action
  • Mr. White retrieved the monkey's paw even after sergeant Morris warned him not to. The Whites were told about there sons death and they they there wish caused his fate. they buried their son 2 miles away from the house and fell into deep deep despair
  • Resolution
  • There was a knocking sound at the door Mrs. white runs to the door because she thinks It is Herbert her son Mr. White does not want her to see her beaten and resurrected son. So he finds the monkey's paw and makes his third and final wish.
  • Mrs. White finally got the door open. When she opened the door she did not see her son or anyone or anything. She starts to cry and chase what she thought of her son.
  • where are you Herbert!
  • Mr. White joins his wife outside in despair. And he was relieved as only the street lights would flicker. as a new dawn starts.
