- Hamelin was a beautiful town on the banks a river . But the town was full of rats. And they were destroying everything - clothes, books, food etc.It was a big problem for the people.
- Oh No!
- Mayor announced prize as 10 bags ofgold coins for anyone who can save the town from the rats. A man who introduced himself as Pied Piper came to Mayor.
- But, I think, we can settle for 10 bags of gold coins.
- I'll get rid of rats. But I need 10 bags of gold coins
- Pied Piper played a tune with his pipe. And all the rats in the town started following him. He took the rats to a river. All the rats were drowned in the water.
- The Mayor backed out from the promised deal and the Pied Piper was dissapointed and angry.
- I have done what I promised. Give me the promised fees.
- What promise?
- Angry Upset Pied Piper, played another tune. This time all the children of the town started following him. He took them to a cave outside the town. Putting the children inside the cave, he closed it.
- The Mayor realized his blunder and paid the fees.The Pied Piper taught Hamelin a lesson.
