  • First Battle of Bull Run (July 21, 1861) was known more as the as the First Battle of Manassas. Both sides had around 18,000 troops. Of course since it was the first, their troops were very poorly trained and skilled.
  • The Shiloh battle was fought throughout the time period of (April 6-7, 1862) in southwestern Tennessee. This place was also near the west bank of the Tennessee River which gave the other side a great opportunity to attack.
  • Antietam or the Battle of Sharpsburg (September 17, 1862) or also known as the battle of Antietam was another battle about the American Civil War. Out of these different Wars this was near the Southern part of the United States.

  • The Gettysburg War was fought from (July 1, 1863–July 3, 1863) which ended up being one of the most important engagement of the American Civil War. As known, most of this took place in the Gettysburg town and Pennsylvania.
  • The American Civil War: Battle of Belmont was fought from (November 7, 1861-1865). Near the Mississippi County, Missouri. This battle was also known as the "first combat test".
  • The Vicksburg battle lasted from (May 22-July 4, 1863), it was also known as the last Battle fought with military action in Vicksburg Campaign of the American Civil War.
