Storyboard Text

  • Fats come in many forms known as saturated, unsaturated, trans, and cholesterol fats.
  • While we are waiting here can you tell me what fats are?
  • Every fat provides important functions such as transporting and storing other nutrients, insulating the body, cushioning vital organs, and even reserving energy.
  • Saturated fats are found in a solid form that are mostly in animal products like bacon.
  • Unsaturated fats are found in a liquid form that are in oils from nuts or vegetables.
  • Trans fats are formed when food manufacturers  turn liquid oils into solid fats such as   margarine or butter.
  • Cholesterol is a white, wax like substance that helps in transport and deigesting fats such as egg yolk.
