Hi, my name is farmer Joe. I live on a small farm and practice subsistence agriculture, which is growing enough food for me and my family. Often times subsistence agriculture is also called intensive agriculture which is growing crops on a small plot of land.
Plantation agriculture is a large farm that specializes in the production of 1-2 crops for sale. Many of the crops are sold through fair trade which is fair sale prices to developed countries.
