The Battles of Saratoga
These battles started the revolutionary war. The battle of Lexington was a small, yet important fight. After it, British troops marched into Concord after Americans fled. Paul Revere warned that "The regulars are coming" which allowed them to be more prepared. The British retreated but were still attacked. British lost 73 men, 144 wounded. Americans lost 49, 41 wounded. April 19, 1775.
