A man named Siddhartha Gautama was born in 563 B.C also known as the Buddha. Siddhartha Gautama's father met with a fortune teller who told him he would be a king or a religious leader and of course Siddhartha's father wanted him to be a king.
Siddhartha was living a life of luxury without experiencing pain of sadness. He was not aloud to see anyone who was sick, poor, or sad. Siddhartha married and had a son ass prince.
One day Siddhartha rode out of the palace without any guards. While he was riding Siddhartha saw a dead man, a person shrunken by disease, and a old man leaning on a stick. Siddhartha was shocked and horrified
Siddhartha searched for suffering and death and he lived on things that strangers gave hi like food. Siddhartha started studying Hindu Gurus.
Siddhartha joined a band of Ascetics and started to eat less. After a little while the Ascetics abandoned him.
Siddhartha's strength returned and Mara the god of desire and death offered him wealth but that failed. After that he achieved enlightenment.
