Theseus returns to Athens, his homeland, and meets Aeugeus, his father. After a warm embrace, Theseus begins a new journey with a mission.

Theseus meets Ariadne, King Minos's daughter, who has a plan to help him escape the labyrinth. The plan consists in following a red thread that leads to the exit.
Theseus enters the maze full of passages and finds the Minotaur. The battle to the death.
The Minotaur is defeated and falls dead, while Theseus rejoices because of the intense battle he won. He follows the thread Ariadne gave him and escapes.
Theseus returns home, but he forgets to change the black sails from his boat. Aegeus thinks his son is dead, and in an act of sorrow, he throws himself of a cliff and dies in the raging blue ocean. Theseus becomes the new king of Athens.
