The Herons crash on an unknown island after a storm
Let’s repair the ship, the crew got the cargo out
Ok, I’ll investigate the area
We are being invaded
The crew prepare a camp and plan to stay awhile
Yes, I’ll be back soon
I will attack them soon
We need food, Lydia can you go and hunt?
Lydia is out hunting when she discovered something horrible
This bear is huge and injured which means it aggressive
Lydia what news do you have?
After a late winter storm the Herons are shipwrecked on a new island. They are scouting the area and repairing their ship and finding a new place to camp. The indigenous people have spotted them and are already worried
Lydia reports to Thorn, the battle master, about the bear
While the rest of the crew are out finding wood and materials for the camp, Edwin the cook and medic wants to make some food for everyone. He asks Lydia to go out and hunt for food in the forest, despite the forest being new. Lydia agreed to this and makes a shocking discovery.
The bear attacks in the night, startling everyone
Guys, he’s almost dead, a few more arrows
Owwww, almost there!!
As Lydia goes out to hunt for some food for the Herons crew, she discoveres the claw scratches of a bear. Using her tracking expertise she identifies that fact that it is a gigantic bear with an injured paw making it more likely to attack. She also realizes how close the bear could be to the camp.
The Hero crew speak with the native people of the land
To thank you I would like to invite you and your crew to a feast in our village
That bear has been terrorizing our village for years
The Herons find out that there is a huge bear near there camp. Thorn the Battlemaster instructs the crew to build a mini-fort around there camp. He also makes them build long spears to attack the bear of it attacks them and gets through the fort.
As the bears attacks the captain, Hal tells Lydia to go toward the boat and fire arrows at the bear. While she does that, Hal, Thorn, and the rest of the crew will do a frontal attack on the bear. After nearly 2 hours of fighting the exhausted bear finally dies. This leads to the indigenous people of the island to show up to the ruined camp.
The natives of the island thank the Herons for killing the bear. The bear had been attacking their homes and villages causing fear among themselves. After the Herons defeated them, the natives would like them to come to their village for a feast. The Herons agree and learn more about the problems of the island.
