Other than the service sequence documents, the five most important steps to ensure a seamless galley set-up and service delivery are: (i.e. ensuring garbage/recycling set-up is accessible, unlocking all trolleys before setting bars or AC Café, utilizing the J class water jug for more efficient water services, locate all equipment required for flight prior to departure, ask for LT/PR/SP meals list prior to departure, etc)
My indispensible tools are...(i.e. tape for service sequence and identification of items found in each bins, markers to mark off LT/PR/BVRG, extra pair of oven gloves to get help when taking the hot meals out, a pen, bar soap to avoid having to wait for lavatory availability, mobile app as time keeper etc.
To make the best use of galley space, I ensure that...(i.e.: On wide-body, where to place the bar tops when the service is complete, where to set-up a garbage on narrow-body, where to put the bar cart to avoid blocking access to lav, etc.)
